Music - Hail To The Chief with lyrics
Saturday morning, bright and early we started the cruise at Bob Evans restaurant near Fletcher Avenue and I-75 in Temple Terrace. We met at 8:15 a.m. and left about 8:30. There were 10 cars from the Club and 16 (?) members (counting visitor Angela D). John H led us on the cruise but didn't have his navigator, Irene. She had other commitments and had to miss this outing.
The cruise took about 1 hour and 30 minutes and took us north on I-75 to US 98/Hwy 50 to Hwy 33 to Hwy 27 in Clermont. A great ride and we didn't lose anyone.
We arrived at the Presidents Hall of Fame in Clermont a couple of minutes before opening time and used the time to take some pictures.
We had a great tour of the Presidents Hall of Fame and then went to eat at The Oakwood Smokehouse & Grill about 3 blocks away.
After lunch we cruised on down the road to a place nobody ever heard of - Citrus Fresh Aire. This was a wild place as you can see by the pictures. We didn't get to do the Monster bus ride due to a 3-1/2 hour wait but this will be planned in the future. You can see by the pictures we still had a great time here. We spent almost 2 hours doing nothing but hanging around seeing the place.
A visitor (potential new member) Angela D in light blue top joined us

After lunch, we went to a place no one ever heard of - a place called Citrus Fresh Aire. A really interesting place. We didn't take the monster bus ride because there was a 3-1/2 hour wait, but we spent nearly 2 hours here just exploring. We will probably plan another cruise to this place and make a day of it.

After the big shoot out, we returned to the museum where we were parked, saddled up (jumped into our Vettes) and headed to Woody's River Roo restaurant in Ellenton for some much need chow (that's cowboy talk for "lunch").
Woody's River Roo restaurant is on the Manatee River. Beautiful setting
